Sensor Information for UMOOS Mooring: I0132

Mooring History:
DateBuffer NameData TypeDepthComments
2016-11-08 16:05ALLALL Control box swap by R/V Osprey.
2016-12-30 00:00diagnosticsgps_lat, gps_lon-3No valid GPS positions being received; gps fix times have been invalid since control box swap
2017-01-11 00:00ALLALL0Data communications have stopped (both cell and goes), possible problem with data logger.
2017-01-11 11:00ALLALL0Data coms have resumed - both cell and goes reporting valid data once again. No data collected during period of no communications (data logger lockup issue suspected).
2017-01-19 02:00diagnosticsgps_lat, gps_lon-3Valid GPS data being received once again after talkthrough; fix time however is still invalid.
2017-02-16 23:00diagnosticsgps_lat, gps_lon0Primary GPS positions are not getting updated; backup Goes GPS positions continue to work.
2017-03-03 09:25ALLALL0Apparent problems with control box starting at this time - no data being collected, no cellphone or Goes transmissions being received.
2017-03-03 19:30ALLALL0Normal communiucations restored on this buoy (10-hour gap in data).
2017-03-28 01:00sunaALL50Last data received from 50m SUNA nitrate sensor.
2017-04-14 16:30ALLALL0Last data received from buoy (missing on both cell and Goes transmissions).
2017-04-15 00:25ALLALL0Buoy resumed transmissions on both cell and Goes (7 hour gap for all data indicates that logger may have locked up).
2017-04-15 15:30ALLALL0Last data received from buoy (missing on both cell and Goes transmissions).
2017-04-16 06:30ALLALL0Buoy resumed transmissions on both cell and Goes (15 hour gap for all data indicates that logger may have locked up while retrieving mstrain wave data).
2017-04-30 11:00sbe16ALL87Last data received from 87m SBE16+ with transmissometer.
2017-05-03 07:26last data received from GOES
2017-05-27 01:06sbe37ALL20Last data received from 20m SBE37IM. Talkthrough attempts did not solve the problem (suspect instrument has problems and is not internally recording any new data).
2017-06-13 06:00aanderaaALL2Last data received from 2m surface current meter.
2017-12-09 08:06sbe37ALL12Last data received from 1m SBESM. Talk-through showed a clock drift of 2 minutes but instrument was still running and logging data. Clock adjusted and sampling restarted but still no data.
2018-01-05 15:34ALLALL Last data received from buoy (missing cell transmission, Goes failed in May 2017).
2018-01-10 08:00ALLALLtower reported as broken and in water by fisherman.
2018-03-24 14:15ALLALL Recovered by R/V Connecticut. Mooring wire parted during recovery and the 50m IMP and SUNA (along with chain and anchor) were not recovered.
2018-12-18 06:00waves_3ALL0Last data received from test directional wave sensor.

Notes: Sensors highlighted in red indicate problems with this sensor during deployment. Depth is measured relative to the ocean surface with positive depths indicating depths below the ocean surface. Negative depths are heights above the surface. In the case of doppler current measurements, the depth indicates depth of first measurement:delta-depth:depth of last measurement. For instance, 10:4:106 represents currents measured every 4 meters from 10 meters down to 106 meters (28 depths in all).
