Sensor Information for UMOOS Mooring: F0129

Mooring History:
DateBuffer NameData TypeDepthComments
2016-10-07 13:10ALLALL Redeployed by R/V PISCES
2016-10-07 14:00dopplerALL3.2Data from doppler current profiler set to start sampling at minute 40 instead of minute 56.
2016-11-20 00:00ALLALL0Last data received from both cell and goes - datalogger appears locked up?
2016-11-23 05:00ALLALL0Data coms have resumed - both cell and goes reporting valid data once again.
2016-12-14 00:00metvisibility-3Visibility data flagged as invalid (too low)
2017-02-09 03:10ALLALL0All communications stopped from this buoy (no cellphone, no Goes).
2017-02-09 09:00ALLALL0Normal communications resumed from this buoy (both cell and Goes). Note: visibility voltage went to a constant 4.9 after reading 0 for past few months.
2017-03-04 01:00ALLALL0Last cellphone transmission from this buoy. Goes transmissions continue to be valid.
2017-06-01 15:15ALLALL0New phone was installed in control box and complete data transfer has resumed once again.
2017-06-23 14:30ALLALL0All communications failed for this buoy (both cell and Goes); probably data logger lockup.
2017-06-24 19:50ALLALL0Buoy is sending valid data once again after probable datalogger lockup.
2017-11-20 09:00goesALL0Last Goes transmission received from the buoy (cellphone still working). No errors in Goes transmit buffers.
2017-12-10 04:00sbe37salinity, conductivity1Conductivity values too low, flagged as invalid.
2017-12-19 23:30sbe37salinity, conductivity0Conductivity values appear okay once again; unflagged conductivity, salinity, sigma_t.
2017-12-29 08:20metwind_2_speed,wind_2_gust,wind_2_direction-4Primary wind sensor failed (all readings zero); backup wind sensor speed okay.
2018-01-24 13:20ALLALL Recovered by R/V Connecticut.

Notes: Sensors highlighted in red indicate problems with this sensor during deployment. Depth is measured relative to the ocean surface with positive depths indicating depths below the ocean surface. Negative depths are heights above the surface. In the case of doppler current measurements, the depth indicates depth of first measurement:delta-depth:depth of last measurement. For instance, 10:4:106 represents currents measured every 4 meters from 10 meters down to 106 meters (28 depths in all).
