University of Maine Ocean Observing System (UMOOS) Buoy A01 Funding Physical Oceanography Group School of Marine Sciences University of Maine

Buoy A01 was first deployed in 2001 by the University of Maine's Physical Oceanography Group. It was funded by GoMOOS between 2001 and 2008. Funding received from the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) and Massachusetts Liquid Natural Gas Project supported the buoy from 2009 through 2013. The buoy is currently being funded with continued support from MWRA and additional funding from NERACOOS (starting in June 2014).
