All ocean basins have tides; but in practical terms, some ocean basins have very small tides, and a tide of less than a centimeter between low water and high water can hardly be considered important. Thus, from the practical point of view, your answer is correct.

The Mediterranean Sea is just one example of a large ocean basin where the tides do not exceed a few millimeters in hight. This exercise will explain why. Here is another question:
