Note that temperature usually decreases with depth, producing an increase of density with depth. Exceptions are seen in the 100 -  500 m depth range at 53.5°S and at 1000 -  1200 m at 10°S.

Does this mean that at these locations density decreases with depth?

no, density increases with depth; at these depths a temperature increase produces a density increase.
yes, density decreases with depth in these depth ranges.
no, density increases with depth; the salinity must increase in these depth ranges to achieve this.
