Let us explore the density of pure water somewhat further by investigating its numerical value at different temperatures.

Enter a temperature value and click on the button "calculate the density" to find the corresponding density. Make a note of some of the number pairs (density vs temperature); you may need them in later questions.

See how much density varies over the temperature range typically encountered in the ocean. (A suitable range would be 5 - 30°C.)
