Sensor Information for UMOOS Mooring: MDS02

Mooring History:
DateBuffer NameData TypeDepthComments
2009-11-05 16:50ALLALL Redeployed by R/V Connecticut
2010-03-02 16:00dopplerALL4Doppler continues to reset several times per day (started again 28 Feb)
2010-04-14 04:00aanderaaALL2Last valid data received from 2m current meter. Low temperature readings prior to last data indicate problem might be low battery.
2010-05-13 19:00aanderaaALL2External battery pack added for surface current meter. Valid data being received once again.
2010-05-27 11:00diagnosticsgps_lat,gps_lon0Buoy moved about 200m to the west; still appears to be anchored.
2010-08-24 10:00ALLALL0Buoy moved about 400m to SW during past 20 hours during storm.
2010-10-12 22:50ALLALL Recovered by R/V Connecticut.

Notes: Sensors highlighted in red indicate problems with this sensor during deployment. Depth is measured relative to the ocean surface with positive depths indicating depths below the ocean surface. Negative depths are heights above the surface. In the case of doppler current measurements, the depth indicates depth of first measurement:delta-depth:depth of last measurement. For instance, 10:4:106 represents currents measured every 4 meters from 10 meters down to 106 meters (28 depths in all).
