CTD profiles, water samples, and net tows were collected throughout the cruise at over 150 locations throughout the Gulf of Maine. A brief stop in Southwest Harbor was made early in the morning of 24 July to exchange scientific personnel. Mooring I was deployed on 24 July, mooring L was deployed on 25 July, and mooring K was deployed on 26 July 2001. In addition to the moored buoy deployments, 8 drifting buoys were also deployed and tracked for a 24-hour period on 27/28 July.
